The release of Elementor Pro 2.0 Theme Builder has resolved two key tasks: now it’s possible to dynamically build any part of a website and visualize your changes at once, no coding skills are required.
The new builder provides new abilities to customize header, single post page, footer, and other website’s areas. This is a new drag-and-drop experience which makes website editing easier than ever before.
The process of website creation now supposes three main points:
1. Choosing a template type.
2. Building a page’s structure with the help of dynamic content.
3. Setting the conditions that define where to apply your template.
New Template Types
Go to Elementor -> My Templates -> Add New, you see that more templates are available for selection now.
If earlier only Page and Section templates were possible to choose from, now you can also select header, single page, archive page, etc.
This means that now you can easily customize every area of your website with simplicity.
Dynamic Content
Go to your Pages -> Add New -> Edit with Elementor, add new section in the Elementor Editor and choose, e.g., a Heading widget. If in the earlier version, you were able to create only static content, now you see that it’s possible to make a dynamic one.
You build a framework only once, and content is added dynamically. This means you create, for instance, a title, and its content is added automatically.
There are different dynamic content tags available for posts author, archive etc. For instance, there are featured image, excerpt, meta, and some other tags available for Posts; name, profile picture, and some more tags available for Author, and so on.
Except for standard static widgets which were available in the old version, there are new dynamic widgets you can now use in Elementor Pro 2.0. They are such as:
- post excerpt;
- post content;
- author box;
- archive title;
- site name;
- site logo;
and many more.
Preview Settings and Display Conditions
Now it’s possible to preview the result of your work with any dynamic content. This feature is added to make it easier to imagine all the changes you’ve made while creating dynamic content on your website.
In addition, you are now able to choose display conditions to decide where to place your dynamic content. You can apply your content for a definite category, any certain page, etc. Every template contains the display conditions that define where it is placed.
Choose Any WordPress Theme
Elementor Pro 2.o allows to choose any WP theme you want and make any changes you prefer. You can switch the themes, customize them as you require and feel free to make any amendments you need.
